Getting Started
Q: How do I create an account?
A: Download the app and sign up using your email, Apple ID, or Google account. It's free to start!
Q: What's included in the Free tier?
A: You get 3 lifetime meal plan generations, 1 AI revision per plan, access to your last 3 meal plans, and you can email plans as text.
Meal Planning
Q: How does AI meal planning work?
A: Add foods to your Pantry, set your macro goals, configure food rules, and our AI generates personalized meal plans using what you have.
Q: Can I edit generated meal plans?
A: Yes! You can request changes by giving instructions to the AI (e.g., "replace chicken with beef" or "make lunch lighter"). The AI will regenerate the plan based on your feedback. AI revisions per plan: Free (1), Medium (2), Pro (2).
Q: How do I exclude certain foods?
A: Use Food Rules to specify foods to avoid or dietary preferences. The AI will respect these rules when generating meal plans.
Subscriptions & Purchases
Q: How much does Qedamio cost?
A: See in-app pricing for current subscription options. Medium and Pro tiers are available with monthly billing.
Q: What is Generation Boost?
A: Boost is a one-time purchase that adds +5 extra meal plan generations to your account. Unlike monthly generations, bonus generations never expire and don't reset - they carry over until you use them. Free users can purchase one boost; Medium and Pro subscribers can buy unlimited boosts.
Q: Can I cancel my subscription?
A: Yes, anytime! Cancel through your App Store or Google Play settings. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
Q: Do you offer refunds?
A: Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their policies. Contact their support for refund requests.
Data & Privacy
Q: Is my data secure?
A: Yes! All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure only you can access your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Q: Can I export my meal plans?
A: All users can send meal plans to their email as text. Medium and Pro subscribers can also export meal plans as PDF files.
Q: How do I delete my account?
A: Go to Profile → Delete Account. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Technical Issues
Q: Voice input isn't working.
A: Check that you've granted microphone permissions in your device settings. Voice recognition requires internet connection.
Q: The app crashes or freezes.
A: Try these steps:
- Restart the app
- Update to the latest version
- Clear app cache (Settings → Storage)
- If issues persist, contact support@qedamio.app
Q: Meal plans aren't generating.
A: Common solutions:
- Check your internet connection
- Verify you haven't reached your tier limit
- Ensure you have at least 3 items in your Pantry
- Try again in a few minutes (AI service may be temporarily busy)

A: Qedamio supports 11 languages: English, Slovak, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, Portuguese, French, Czech, Korean, Russian, and German.
Q: Can I sync across devices?
A: Yes! Your data syncs automatically across all devices when you're logged in with the same account.
Q: Does Qedamio work offline?
A: You can view your Pantry and saved meal plans offline. Generating new plans requires internet connection (for AI processing).
